This is a plain-language summary prepared for the Foundation, not a lawyer-drafted contract. It should be reviewed by a lawyer or CA before being treated as final or legally binding.

Using this website

By using retirementindia.in, you agree to these terms. The information here — about AAHAAR, ADHIKAR, AAWAS, the Sunset Deposit, MUKTANGAN and our other work — is provided in good faith to help senior citizens, EPFO members and their families. We try to keep it accurate and current, but we don't guarantee it is complete or error-free at every moment, and it isn't a substitute for professional legal, financial or medical advice.

Donations

• Donations made through this site go entirely to the Foundation's work, as described on the Donate page.
• Donations are not refundable once made.
• 80G certificates are issued only once our current renewal with the Income Tax Department is confirmed — we won't promise a receipt we can't yet deliver.
• We are not currently registered under FCRA, so we cannot accept contributions from foreign citizens, including OCI card holders, except from an NRE/NRO account by an Indian passport holder.

Membership

Membership terms are set out in full on the membership page — the fee, what it supports, and what it does and doesn't include. Using the registration form there means you agree to those terms.

The Sunset Deposit

The Sunset Deposit is a planned reserve, not an insurance product. Deposits are placed with RBI-regulated partner banks and NBFCs under formal agreement; the Foundation manages the nominee registry and first-hour support. Every member is separately enrolled in the Foundation's own group life insurance policy, covering members up to age 65, as described on the Sunset Deposit section of the homepage.

No guarantee of outcome

We do our best on every EPF, pension or legal case we take on through ADHIKAR, but we cannot guarantee a particular result — outcomes depend on facts specific to each case and on external authorities (EPFO, courts, employers) that are outside our control.

We may update this page from time to time as our work grows; the version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
